The steam backup process doesn't give the user an option to specify the folder name used, so with who does this fault lie? i.e. Now, I might be wrong but I suspect that that folder name used for the backup is invalid and not supported in Windows. This folder however were inaccessible, Windows give the following error upon trying to access the folder: The Steam Backup finished normally, and created a folder named "Invisible, Inc." at the backup location (on a 2nd HDD). After installation I continued to make a Steam Backup, as I usually do with all my games (for when I need to reinstall the game later). ![]() today and installed the game, the game's cache folder was properly named "InvisibleInc" and located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common".
